candles to remember

Hello
at midnight on Christmas Eve I plan to light a candle to remember all the beautiful people I have known who died of bc. I wondered if anyone fancied doing the same so we can have our lights shining across the country for our friends

Hi Monica, I would love to join you in the candle lighting on Christmas Eve. I love Christmas Eve more than Christmas Day and will put out the candles just as you have suggested. In memory of all those who are no longer with us. I hope things are improving for you now and that you have a peaceful time with your family. I also hope 2010 turns out to be a better one for you. You are a lovely thoughtful person Monica and as usual you are thinking of others.Well I will be thinking of you. Much love Val XX

Monica and my lovely friend Val, I would be happy to join you in lighting a candle at midnight on Christmas Eve. I plan to use the next few days as a time for reflection over the past seven months, to be thankful for all the wonderful people I have met on here and in hospital, to cuddle my baby boy in tight, and to think about the poor ladies who have lost their tragic battle with this cruel disease.

Peace and love to all of you

A lovely idea and I too will do the same. I have lost a lot of friends on this site this year and whilst I have had a blessed year with my own health ( for now)and feel grateful for that it is a bittersweet time as I remember those whom we’ve lost and their families and friends.
Wishing strength, peace, love and hope to everyone at this time xx

Have lit a candle to remember those that have died from bc. Never actually known anyone in real life who has died of bc but have followed many threads on here of those at end stage cancer.

God bless you, all of you lovely ladies that have died in the past year.

Thinking of Shelly who lost her life in June - you are never far from my thoughts xx

mine are for Sylvana, Lorraine, Angela and Isabel who were all fine women and taught me something about how to live well.

I lit a candle on Christmas eve and will again tonight at midnight for all those with BC.
Let us hope and pray for all and for the future devolopement for a prevention of this disease.

lots of love and hugs
