ps i did read that a severe side effect of capectabine could be breathlessness hence my asking
hi maximise
im too on same treatment for ascites in my tummy, i get breathless because of the fluid im carrying, but i get some relief after being drained, but only for about a week before it builds up again. i would think its the problem in your lungs making you breathless but im not a doctor, but keep on till they sort it out, after all thats their job. take care hope you sort it out soon.
Hi I did have 6 cycles of capecitabine although now changed to eribulin Just to say I had terrible breathlessness too while I was on it. I thought it was due to pleural secondaries but am tonnes better now I’m off it. Not sure if that helps any.
