We have been very conscious for some time that people are not always able to access support at the very time they need it most, often in the middle of the night. So, to enable that to happen we have removed the pre-moderation rule, which means that everyone can post straight away.
Those of you who use the forum to chat in the wee hours of the morning will understand how critical it is to be able to connect with people who are also looking for a friendly voice when it feels like the rest of the world is asleep. This does not mean, however, that we will not be reading posts. We will still be reading and moderating everything that is posted on the forum.
There are very rigorous abuse and spam filters in place, but inevitably there will be a rogue post slipping through on occasions, or times when you feel the filters are too rigorous. If you notice anything that is out of place, inappropriate links or something which concerns you, please let us know by either emailing moderator@breastcancercare.org.uk or by using the report inappropriate content button found in the options drop down box in the top right hand corner of every post.
