I finished my four cycles of TC chemo on April 11th. During my third cycle my eyes started watering and they havent stopped yet. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Is anyone done of chemo and still finds their eyes watering? I hoping it is not going to be a side effect that lasts forever…its very annoying!

I get watery eyes too, i think something to do with loss of eyelashes, i’ve lost quite a few on the left eye and it seems to be worse on that side, it is a bit annoying. I get a really runny nose too!
I have my last chemo on wednesday so im not too far behind you,

I finished chemo in Feb 2013 and found that towards the end I was suffering really badly with watering eyes.
I found what really helped was the Optrex eye wash you can buy in places like Boots, Superdrug - I used it several times a day and it really helped.
Went away a few weeks after chemo, was just another of the many side effects we have to endure!

I’ve had my 3 FEC and 2 T. On T my eyes have been really watery my nurse said it’s the same as night sweats, which is a chemo induced temporary menopause. I’m seeing my oncologist tomorrow and going to ask her as it’s driving me insane! I’ll report back!
My eyes streamed pretty constantly from the 2nd Tax onwards. It was one of the more outwardly visible side effects and I found myself explaining to people that I wasn’t crying quite a bit! It was, however, one of the first SEs to clear up - it just stopped about 3 weeks after my last Tax, so hopefully you won’t have too long to wait x
