Keepthefaith - pleased to read your chemo appears to be working well, I start the same as you this Friday 18 Nov. My boob feels ready to burst, whatever is in there is more than ready to be blitzed! Am very apprehensive about the chemo, but it is a means to an end, have to go thorugh it. Like you I thought I had absecesses, I even put Germaline on my boob lol lol, never imagined it could have been cancer, it all happened too fast. Oh well, at least we are getting sorted! yeayyy
Best of luck to everyone in the Boat of Chemo B4 Surgery.
Hi , I was diagnosed last November, I too had chemo first. I had 4 FEC and 3 tax (they cancelled the last tax due to neuropathy problems) My tumour shurnk from4 cm to 2 cm therefore I had a lumpectomy and axillary clearance rather than mx. I had a 5 week break after the last tax before my op. Then had about 7 weeks break before radiotherapy, had 23 sessions which finished 4 th August. Im feeling great now, although the tamoxifen does tend to play havoc with my sleep! I didnt cope well with the tax I must admit but did get through it just like you all will, big hugs to you all, ness x
