Have now had three sessions of EC chemo and had a CT scan last week - I was dreading the results as I’ve had all sorts of weird aches and pains and a quite troublesome cough which was worrying me a lot.

Been in for the results today and it was good news! My primary tumour has reduced ‘substantially’ and my bones are stable, lungs are completely clear and the small cyst on my liver which was found at Xmas is still there but is definitely a cyst and totally unconnected. To say I am feeling relieved is an understatement. On with Chemo Number 4 tomorrow!

Never quite sure about posting good news when I know others are having a bad time at the moment so please forgive me for that, but so many of you have been so supportive to me over this, I just wanted to let you know.

Lesley xx

Really glad to hear this Lesley! We need as much good news as we can get. Enjoy!

Really pleased to see your chemo is working and great news about your results.

Best wishes Tess.X

That’s really great news Lesley. You mustn’t ever feel bad about posting good news. We all welcome it and I’m really pleased for you that you know the awful chemo’s actually doing something.
Are you having 6 in total? If so the end’s in sight now.
Take care and hope to see you again soon. x

Hi Lesley,
fantastic news. Never hold back we need to share good news and after all the awful news we have had over the past few weeks, I for one hope we will be having lots more good news.

Hi Lesley - thanks for giving us some good news. It’s also a relief when you are going through chemo to know that it’s doing it’s job. Hope chemo No 4 goes OK and from then on you should be on the home stretch (assuming there’s 6 in total) Take it easy.

Thanks everyone - yes, six in total so three down, three to go! Will be done with it all by the school summer holidays which is great and will then hopefully go onto Arimidex or Femara.

I hope we’ll be getting lots more good news too!
