Was thinking today, (as I’ve had quite bad sickness se’s with chemo) and trying to find a positive (apart from the obvious) of having chemo … my eczema has disappeared - It has been an annoying part of my life since I was a child, so am enjoying not putting on the creams!
Anyone else found a positive side effect?!

Ditto…excema dissapearance the only good side effect I can think of at the mo!!!
weight loss, due to not being able to eat / anything I eat going straight through for a week after each chemo
I’ve lost a few pounds as well, not enough to get me in trouble with the Onc department, I hope. My OH hasn’t complained about the cost of fruit like grapes, either.
Having an excuse not to do things I don’t really want to, and not having to drive through an urban rush hour every day is pretty good as well.

Hey just wanted to say what a lovely thread you have started keeping things positive is sooo good for us… At the moment apart from the obvious i cant think of a positive as i am only a week into chemo but i am sure i will in due course,

very clear skin - the chemo seemed to kill off all spots
Was delighted to read this post - It took me a while to notice but yes my eczema disappeared too. I had it in both ears - flaky and horrible. There is a positive - hoping it doesn’t return!
