hope you ladies don’t mind me posting here, I thought of posting on chemo forum but am comfortable in the TN forum now. Sis still weighing up options re treatment but I’ve advised her to go for it now as it will give her the best chance. Is it true that your hair grows back grey? I’ve never heard that. Would be interested to hear from anyone. I hope she chooses the treatment - it wiil be v hard for her but so many people on here have said it’s doable. I can’t see how she can decide otherwise but of course it’s her decision at end of day. So do let me know about the grey hair. Thank you ladies x
My hair came back with slightly more grey hair, but many others I know, it did not. Can vary from person to person. Hope all goes well. Kelly
Ive just had my fifth chemo this morning and my hair is coming back like fine blonde soft baby hair. I did have long curly reddy/brown hair before. The chemo nurse said today it might stay blonde for a couple of inches (that some people choose to dye it) and then your real colour comes through.
If mine makes me look like an old lady I think I will carry on wearing my headscarf/wig.

My hair came back in with grey patches initially but quickly reverted to my usual colour although I dyed it as soon as I could as I already had some grey in it. Everyone is different but no problem dying your hair when it grows back in as long as you use something gentle with no ammonia. I do hope this doesn’t put her off getting the treatment she needs. Us T
triple negative girls need chemo as don’t have any other choices. Good luck.
