Cheriepie - sad news

I know Cheriepie used to post on this Board. Sadly she passed away on Friday 9 November. I first met Cheriepie (Mags) at the Tai Chi at the Maggie Centre in Glasgow. I knew she had been through a lot but never once did she complain. Her laugh was infectious and she had a great sense of humour. She even managed to gain a HNC in Business recently despite her condition and her busy family life of husband and three children. Unfortunately, her cancer spread and although she was very ill she never allowed it to show. It came as a shock to her family and everyone who knew her that the end has come so quickly. My thoughts are with her husband (Stewart) and her three children.

God bless.

Jeannie

Hi Jeannie I am so sorry to hear about Cheriepie My thoughts are with the family. It does bring it all back to us when someone who has fought as hard as her goes. It must be hard for you having had met her and seen how brave she had been. I also live in Scotland I live in a little village called Fauldhouse. We just moved back to Scotland 1 year ago yesterday I was only here a week when I discovered the lump I had a mastectomy last December and 8 sessions of chemo. I am now feeling well and back at work. I had all my treatment at St Johns in Livingston I did want to have it in Glasgow as I was born there but my doctor only deals with West Lothian. Anyway enough about me I know you will be feeling down. Please Take Care Love Linda xxxx Love to All Cheriepies Family
