Chuffed to bits

After being diagnosed at the beginning of January with mild lymphoedema in my wrist, I went back on Friday for a check-up. After religiously wearing my glove day and night and doing my massage twice a day and exercises, my wrist has gone back down to normal levels. I am so pleased, I do realise though that it could come back at any time and I have been advised to wear my glove if I am doing any heavy duty housework or gardening. I was so worried as for the last couple of weeks the skin on my bad arm has been hyper sensitive to extreme temperatures and just wearing long sleeves touching my skin, was so uncomfortable. The lymphoedema nurse thinks it is nerve regeneration after my op in October!!!
I am just pleased I kept going with it all as I did wonder at one point if it was working but it certainly has.
Thanks for help and advice x

Well done sunshine. I was getting really fed up with doing the SLD but when I read outcomes such as yours it inspires me to bite the bullet and get on with it. Thank you so much
