So I had my appointment today after 6 weeks off bloody discharge from my nipple. Mammogram was clear for lumps but shows a thickening of the nipple and they have taken a sample of the fluid from my nipple. Typically after 6 weeks of bleeding it’s now stopped a few days ago, their is clear fluid coming from it so they have taken a sample of that. Consultant said she doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about but worst case scenario would probably be early stage cancer. Results should be back on Wednesday. Has anyone had this and had bad news when the sample came back? I can’t shake the feeling that it is something.
