Colette Mills

I am so very sad to say my dear cyber friend and fellow campaigner Colette Mills has passed away.
In the words of her husband Colette was a true battler and gave everything she could to have more time with her truly loved family.
I spoke often to Colette and she had a wicked sense of humour and determined to extend her life for as long as was possible. I was proud to be involved with her fighting the ‘bloody bureaucrats’ as she called them.
I will miss you Colette and I am gutted to lose another lovely woman to this filthy disease.
R.I.P. Colette
Love to all her family during this very sad time you can be so very proud of all she achieved in her life.

I am very sad to hear this news - I had been missing Colette’s posts which always were supportive and informative.

Yet another woman lost to this awful disease. My thoughts are with her family.

Kind regards,

I didn’t know Collette Debs, she sounds like she was a real character and gave the cancer as hard a time as she could for as long as she could.

My thoughts are with her family and freinds at this saddest of times.

Yes I remember reading one of her posts to you I think it was Debs - she seemed very ‘on the ball’ and not one to just give in to her fate, - a true campaigner.

Rest in peace Colette - I’m sure you did more than your bit to help beat this disease and bring about change not just for yourself but for the rest of us.

just so sorry to hear this news - i didn’t know Collette but she sounds so fiesty and positive - and we, on this forum, need to celebrate and thank women like Colette …and I send love to her loved ones who are so bereft, jayne x

I am so sorry to hear about Colette. She was having rads at the same time as Lisa and we compared notes. I also remember seeing her on TV.
Its all so sad… too many lovely people being taken by this awful desease.

Rest in Peace and without pain and worry now Colette.
