Collapsed breast...

Hi everyone, I had a lumpectomy last summer, my breast seemed to have evened out and wasn’t looking too bad really, however, in the last few months, mainly due to feeling rather depressed, I’ve lost my appetite and have lost weight. I now have a really nasty dent in my breast, it looks awful.

I saw the plastic surgeon at the begining of the year, she wanted to remove the entire breast and perform a trans flap? I cannot handle the thought of it, and having spoken to other women who’ve gone through it, the recovery sounds long and painful, I’m not up to it.

I’ve been trying to find more information on other proceedures, I know there is one involving fat injected into the breast to even it out, ‘liposculpture’? Cannot find anyone in the UK who’s using it as a proceedure.

If anyone has any suggestions or could point me in the right direction for alternatives to radical surgery I would be very grateful.

Thanks very much.
