Hello Im on Paclitaxel iv & Carboplatin iv once weekly for 12 weeks, followed by Epirubicin & Cyclophosphamide on day 1 ever 21 days for 4 cycles in combination with Pembrolizumab every 3 weeks for 8 x doses followed by Pembrolizumab IV monothearpy ecey 6 weeks for 5 doses. Please advise when to you compression socks and gloves also socks knee length of ankle. Sorry long message wanted to get correct treatment in. I looked at cold gloves etc they only last 20-30 mins. Thank you

We’re not sure what you are wanting to use compression sock and gloves for.
Compression garments are used in different situations such as helping to manage lymphoedema or to reduce the risk of a blood clot such as a deep vein thrombosis (DVT).
Cold socks and gloves are being researched to see if they can reduce the risk of peripheral neuropathy with chemo. Working on a similar principle to scalp cooling for reducing hair loss. They are not yet recommended routinely.
Do speak with your treatment team, breast care nurse or the chemotherapy nurses about this.
