Confused help needed

hi,
The reason i am writing is because a few months ago i developed a abscess in my right breast, was given the usual anti-botics which seemed to work for a while but then flared up again a few months later and resulted in a inverted nipple. I was quickly refereed to the hospital who gave me further anti-botics and took a sample of puss to be cultured

I have been back three further times since this and have had samples taken, ultra sounds and mamagram and each time the samples come back as nothing is growing so not an infection, but still puss is present and growing. Today they drained off 4mls of the stuff which was yellow in colour. i have been told that the abcess is about 1 inch round.
is this normal? i dont understand if there is not infection then where is the puss coming from

So you have a mass, so to speak? I would be asking for that to be biopsied, to be on the safe side. If you’re not satisfied with the service, then go to your GP and ask to be referred to the clinic. For further testing!
