Hi
No, not that I’m aware of, I think it means it’s grade 3. Secondary breast cancer is classed as Grade 4 and means that the breast cancer cells have spread to another part of the body. Have a look at the information pages at the beginning of the website here and I think they will explain it better than I can! Hope this helps but sorry if it’s not much use.

Hi Metal-Mouth,
Secondary breast cancer is where breast cancer has spread from the primary cancer to other parts of the body ie Bones,Lungs,Liver,Brain.
Stageing refers to Size, lymph involvement, and spread.
Gradeing refers to the personality of the cancer ie grade 1 = low grade or slow growing, Grade 2 =intermediate, and Grade 3 = aggressive or fast growing.
If you click on breast cancer the facts on the top left hand side of this page you can find more info on the different types of DX and what they mean.
Hope this helps.
All the best

Hi
Duh, having re-read my reply I did mean to put ‘Stage’ not ‘grade’ so thanks for correcting my totally incorrect answer Lindiloo, I should know by now
And thx M-M for asking about how things are going, I’m doing well at the moment.
