Hi everyone,
I was diagnosed with High grade DCIS with microinvasion in November 2016. I underwent a Hadfields procedure and then a WLE followed by radiotherapy and now Tamoxifen. The diagnosis was a complete shock to me. Having now completed the radiotherapy i was reminded that i had critical illness insurance with the Prudential. The cover excludes non invasive cancers in situ so i understand DCIS on its own would not be covered but is microinvasion invasive and therefore covered.
Has anyone else experience of this?
