crystal healing

Hi ladies,

I have always been interested in alternative/complementary therapies even before getting BC, crystals and crystal healing have always fascinated me, crystals are beautiful objects, they are natural products of the earth and a gift from nature. I have always used crystals to help with minor complaints mainly for the hormonal migranne I suffer every month (makes me pyshically sick) even tho I’m now going through chemopause I still get this dam headache, nothing works, except a dark room and an amethyst, works everytime, put the amethyst on my forehead wake up with no migrane.

To treat breast cancer I have been using a Septarian Nodule shaped like an egg, its a tumour buster, I meditate with the crystal placed on my right breast and lymph nodes for half an hour a day.
Another crystal that may help is Petalite worn as a pendant close to your breast. If you google these crystals you may be able to get more information on them.

Recently I went to a professional crystal healer for a free hour long taster session, and was really impressed, she mainly used a dosing crystal to work out where my energy levels were depleted on my chakra points, and too be honest she was spot on, she detected that I had a blockage on my right breast (I did not tell her about my dx or tx prior to going there) I did have a cry during this process, and afterwards felt so much better I actually think I felt balanced.

If you are interested in this subject please feel free to leave a comment or PM.

hi, interesting post. I would knock any alternative therapy. I use a chinese doctor and he works well in parallell with my NHS treatment,

if you are suggesting that crystal therapy would be a good thing today alongside conventional treatment , then why not, go for it. But if you are suggesting it as a replacement I might have difficulty in accepting the wisdom of that

I get migraines - the only thing that works for me is a dark room and a sleep - and guess what, after sleeping I wake up - no migraine.
Not an Amethyst in sight.

Hi, I have some crystals and some necklaces of amethyst, jade and rose quartz…the crystals I have just because they are so beautiful, especially when the sun catches them and a rose quartz necklace is like a little scarf in winter…really warms up the longer you wear it. Take Care…x

Hi ladies

Oldandlumpy - I would never suggest crystal healing as an alternative to conventional medicine only in addition to conventional medicine. I’ve had chemo and tomorow surgery MX with lymph node clearance then tamoxifen/herceptin due to spread I should be on these forever. So definately not as an alternative but yes in conjunction with the conventional medicine.

El Katrano - I used to try and get rid of my migrannes just in a darkened room and found it only worked when I used my amethyst as well, but thats just me we are all individual and have different belief systems for me the crystal healing goes hand in hand with my own very strong belief in spirituality/spiritulism.

Belinda - Rose Quartz is a beautiful stone pink and warm loving and nurturing it is a powerful stone full of love and relates to mothers or parenting, I keep a largish lump of rose quartz next to the bed and in the night when I am awoken by the dreadful hot flushes I can hold it for emotional comfort and as I have recently found its also quite good for cooling you down.

Well good, it obviously works for you. And I would think it would work for anyone who believed in it. I am not very spiritual or sensitive so it would not be my sort of thing, but I would not for one minute dismiss any method of healing that others use.

Much to my amazement my friend, a really practical down to earth lady, had a Hypnotic Gastric Band session a year ago. And it seems to have worked for her, she is slowly shedding the pounds after years of other diets not working. Perhaps it is the thought of all that money she spent keeping her on it, or perhaps the guy struck a chord with her way of thinking and turned something round.

I dont think you can knock anything that works for others just because you dont fancy doing it yourself.

Well said OAL, if we all learned to repsect each other (on a global scale) the world would be a much better place. Whilst crystals don’t do it for me (obviously, given my job) I know many people find comfort and wellbeing from their use. Years ago people dissed chinese medicine as mumbo jumbo, now we know it can be scientifically supported; who knows, one day we may find a scientific explanation forother things too. In my world there are people who misguidedly think that ‘praying harder’ will do more good than medicine - NO!!! I think as long as people listen to their oncs/surgeons/BCNs and see complementary things as what they are, then it’s all to the good. Not that faith/spirituality is a complementary thing btw, just not sure what ‘label’ it gets!

Sarahlousie, thank you for posting this, I am sure there will be ladies who find it very helpful, just as others find things on prayer or meditation or whatever helpful.

PS I have a lovely piece of rose quartz that was given to me a Christian retreat as a symbol of beauty… the boundaries are somtimes more fuzzy than we like to admit.

I’m unsure if any of the spiritual/faith (rough category) things are right or not. I was given a piece of rose quartz by my daughter years ago so it is in the Feng Shui place in my sitting room for love/relationships.

A Chinese pupil made me a special small jar years ago; it has hand-made folded 3-D stars in it. The lid is glued down. She told me it would bring me luck if I never opened it. I used to keep it in the wealth corner of the room but a few months back I moved it to the health part…

But apart from that, I haven’t had my room aligned or anything. Just hedging my bets, I suppose.
