Hi all, although a nervous wreck I got through the CT and bone (gamma camera) scans. CT revealed dense tissue in left breast ( right side has had WLE & ALND for IDC stage 3) the tissue matches mammogram so I’ve been put forward for MRI, surely a risky area would have been investigated at mammogram stage. I am happy they are being thorough but feel full of dread at another nightmare scan & of course more bad news. I have 1mg lorazepam for tomorrow’s 30 min face down scan, honestly I hope it knocks me out.

Yes it seems to be - I had an MRI and bone scan, but I’m not due for my CT until the 18th as they’re pretty busy.
But the MRI gives them a more in-depth look at your breasts and the tissue.
Good luck with it though - if you can, take your own cd with you - I know the hospital I went to let me bring my own music to listen to, bit more relaxing.
MRI went well thanks to lorazepam, ultrasound and biopsies too yesterday, please left side be clear. Chemo now delayed awaiting pathology results 6th March, so a treatment free week for me. Don’t mind if I do.
