Had a c.f. scan for suspected lymphoma showed calcified axilla and a mass that in 6 years has grown from 6mm to 10mm … my heamatoligist said a breast soeacalist has looked at my CT scan results and deemed it unnessery… would you take this professionals desicion or request further investigation ? Somebody please give me some advice I feel like I’ve walked away from ppl who were meant to help me yet have decided to ignore it and tell me I’m fine without no definitive proof that I am or I am not.

I would certainly go with how you’re feeling about this, if nothing else, you need a more thorough explanation of this than the one you’ve been given.
You’re right, you need to know what this is & it would certainly be reasonable to ask about further investigation, so that you have a definitive answer.
Sometimes professionals don’t communicate as well as they should, so do ask questions.

Thanks I’m gonna phone her secretary tomorrow and request further investigation they are also biopysing a lymponode but not the calcified ones … wouldn’t they be better biopysing those?
