Well was starting to feel so much better and now i have been floored as i have got shingles!!! Woke up this morning and my throat is so sore, but i understand this is a side effect of the chemo. Just hoping that the shingles don’t delay treatment no 2. Sorry to winge, just feeling a bit down today, hair coming out in clumps as well so think i will get hubby to shave it off today. At least i can decide on one thing that is happening to me at present.
Oh dear, you could really have done without that. Have you been prescribed antivirals and something for your throat?
Very sensible to get your hair shaved off. There is nothing worse than waking each day to find another clump of hair on your pillow, that’s really upsetting.

Thanks emmbee, yes i have to take 5 antiviral tablets every day, and have just finished course of antibiotics today, throat feeling a bit easier, just drinking plenty of fluids.
Hair has gone now, hubby did a great job.
