i had my op Wednesday and although a bit traumatic (always sick after anaesthetic) I’m home and roaming in the wee hours! I seem to have had that much sleep in the hospital and again when I got home, I now can’t sleep. Having said that, I am sooooooo relieved to be the other side of the surgery. All went well and the ward staff were fab! I’m a bit sore and very nervous about taking this bra off now its anchored in place! Consultant happy with outcome although said the DCIS was nearer to the nipple than could be seen originally. I’m just hoping that I don’t have to go back to have more taken! Will know in 3 weeks. Just got to concentrate on doing nothing now for a few days and soak up a few rays!
