I was diagnosed with high grade DCIS 2 weeks ago after core biopsies 2 weeks earlier! Totally unexpected but thought right just get on with it - it has to be done. Now it is hitting me in waves and although I am keeping up appearances on the outside, inside I feel like I’m crumbling! I am having a WLE on Monday and have never had an operation. Right now I feel scared!
It should say surgery not survey!
