Good Evening! I am new here but tonight I have been reading a few of the stories and comments on diagnosis, care, treatment plans and I have listed some helpful hints and tips. I had my lumpectomy on the 21st March, my margins came back clear and my lymph nodes were also clear. However my grading came back at 3 and my oncotype result scored 25- not low but not high! I am currently in the position where I need to make a decision to go with chemo or decline it. Has anyone else been in this situation? The thought of chemo is terrifying but then the thought of not doing all that I can do is also terrifying. My oncologist has said I will have 3 rounds of EC and 3 rounds of Docetaxel. I then would continue with radiotherapy and adjuvant tablets. I know my decision is mine to make but if anyone can offer any advice or insight I would be eternally indebted to you.
