Decision time: chemo or not?

Hi Kaz,
I am sending you a big hug because waiting for the results is such a difficult time. Your mind really can run away with you. Mine did anyway. If I could give you any advice it would be: Try to focus your mind on all the wonderful postitive things in your life ( or things you have achieved in your life so far) and every time ‘the results’ come into your head just try to think about the ‘here and now’ and what’s happening today.
That’s the theory anyway. when I was waiting for the initial results of my biopsy I put my head underneath the duvet for the last three days! I was very lucky when I got the results from the operation because they came early and I happened to be at the hospital anyway, visiting the breast care nurse.
Getting the results was never as bad as I imagined. Even the first time when the results were ‘yes it is cancer’ I was very calm realy and just go on with it. And I’m a big wimp.

All the best for Monday anyway. Please let us know how you get on.

I was supposed to start my chemo on Monday but it has been postponed as the wound has started bleeding again. Hope to start next week.

Love Lorna XXX
