Hi, i’d really like to hear from anyone that has has a delayed implant reconstruction.
I had a immediate implant recon after bilateral cancer diagnosis. The left side failed.
My surgeon mentioned having a delayed reconstruction with the implant placed under the muscle.
- are you pleased with how it looks?
- how was your recovery?
I had a seroma on the side that failed, still have tightness, cording, puffyness. Will it just fail again?
3 ops in, im not sure how many more i can manage, but im not happy with the lopsided look.
The right implant looks okay at the mo, but i had to have radiotherapy, so not sure when it will show the effects of that
