Hi, I am really bothered with toothache at the moment and have been for the last couple of weeks. My dentist is reluctant to do X-Rays or any dental work really while I am having radiotherapy. I don’t finish til 29th December with the Christmas break but really don’t want toothache all 9ver the holiday. Has anyone any experience of this or advice?

I’ve not had experience of this, but I’m a bit surprised your dentist said this. I wouldn’t have thought a dental xray would affect anything & its most unpleasant to be bothered with toothache over xmas.
Is it worth going back to the dentist about it to get the reason, or see someone else?

…also just to add, I would have thought it that anything that could cause infection should be treated if going through bc treatment.

I agree with Ann.Radiotherapy is very carefully targeted at your breast tissue if it gets anywhere near your jaw would be very surprised!
You could ask this question in the ask the nurses section .
