Hello everyone 

   My first time joining this forum. I was diagnosed 5 weeks ago, and have undergone  3 operations,  chemotherapy treatment starts in January, followed by radiotherapy and herceptin.

Sorry that you havent had a reply yet.  If you post in the Diagnosed with Breast Cancer board, I am sure you will recieve lots of support as it is a busy and active area.

Hi I’m more or less the same. Diagnosed beginning of November. I have now had 2 ops last one 21st dec. Find out what’s next on 5th jan. Scary times a head xxxx

Hi,
No Bp or blood tests in your arm is to help reduce the possibility of lymphoedema occuring in that arm. Lymphoedema is caused when the drainage system is compromised, and if occurs managed with compression garments, and possibly manual drainage techniques.
