Went for results of biopsy yesterday, pre op tomorrow and mastectomy scheduled for 7th August…
I live on my own and am absolutely petrified… So many questions pounding around my head… Happened so fast I just want to run away and hide…

Receiving your diagnosis is a massive shock…we all know the feeling well!
It’s a whole new, scary world you’ve found yourself in… when I came out of my appointment after receiving my diagnosis I actually lost the ability to speak… I couldn’t remember anything… it’s a huge shock!!!
If you think of any questions then write them down…there’s no way you’ll remember them otherwise!
Have a look around on the threads… you’ll find bits of info and pick up things you may want to ask your oncology team!
Hopefully…when you’ve digested the news a bit more you’ll feel a bit calmer!
