Hi
Was diagnosed Friday with level 2 cancer ( is this same as Stage 2) I am to have axilliary surgery, chemo and radiotherapy. Seeing oncologist Monday to discuss treatment. They want to discuss going on a trial but I have ME and at minute its manageble. Investigations on Monday of ultrasound, mammogram and 2 biopsies meant Wed and Thursday I was bedridden. If I go on a trial first then I think it will make it harder to recover from surgery as I get tired easily anyway. We shall see
Hi Butterfly 22
Sorry that you have found yourself on this forum, I was diagnosed last week and things have been tough however I have found some relief through being on here and communicating with people in similar situations. I hope you find some support as well. I have a lumpectomy on Thursday but my breast nurse states I will defo need radio therapy then wait further results to see if chemo is needed. Have you had results that indicate chemo is necessary? Also your biopsy results were quite quick, some reports of waiting over a week for some, so that’s a positive. Have you a date for your operation? Take care and big hug, stay strong, Louise xxxx
Hi ladies,
Just wanted to say I’m thinking of both of you. It’s such a shock, but somehow, we all get through it. You will too. This place is a tremendous source of support. Use it whenever you feel the need! I do… A lot!!
Best of luck to both of you with your treatment. Take care. Lve Mel. X
