Still recovering from the shock of my diagnosis today. Have been told I have grade 2 invasive ductal breast cancer and will need a mastectomy. Will hopefully be on here for advice in the next few weeks/months!
It’s a horrible shock isn’t it. I am about 2 weeks on from you and starting to get my head round it. This forum helps - lots of lovely supportive people who know exactly what you are going through. x
Firstly, hello and welcome to our exclusive gang!
I know and probably can honestly say we all know how your feeling just now.
On a personal level, I too was diagnosed with exactly the same type of cancer last December, its a horrible shock and you will feel like your in a emotional roller coaster. I thought I was coping really well then went on a weeping mission! We are all on the same journey, except somemof us need to stop off at different stations for fuel. Im a little further down the track than you but you will catch me up and then we can get of the train for good.
I know its hard to take it all in just now, but keep talking and sharing as we can all help on here one way or another.

Hi and welcome to our horrible club (but we have THE best members of any club, anywhere :D)
As the others have said it is a terrible shock and takes ages to get your head around and there is loads to learn about what it means, treatments etc, in fact it seems like you have to learn a whole new language just to figure out what is going on and that is one of the very many reasons the ladies on here are so wonderful. Someone always knows the answer to the question, no matter how big or small and everyone shares their expertise/provides an ear to whinge into/sympathy & understanding/dark humour when you need it, so you’ll never feel alone.
Keep posting and we’ll all do our best to help you through this
