Hi,
I was diagnosed with TNBC - grade 2 - on Thursday and it’s knocked me for six. My husband had testicular cancer last year so on the outside I’m being strong and positive, especially for the kids sake. But on the inside I’m crushed and scared, especially after reading information on the internet. However from reading some of the chats on this forum, it’s a relief to hear about people in similar situations and see the support on offer
Hello Sonic, welcome to the forum .The thing we always say to people newly diagnosed is " step away from google " !!! Most of the research / figures are based on people who were treated 20 plus years ago and thankfully treatment has moved on a lot since then .There are lots of triple negative ladies on the forum doing well and enjoying their lives to the full .Im sure some of them will be along to say hello .The first few weeks after diagnosis are awful but it does get better - lots of support and advice here when you need it .Jill x
