I was dx yesterday my head is in such a mess was told wed nothing to worry about just my rib i could feel in my reconstuction (tram flap recon 2007 DCIS) had a biopsy taken and went back yesterday for reults was told unfortunatly it was a grade 3 tumour. I have now been booked in to have my reconstruction removed on the 27th April. Like everyone else I feel very frightened about what the out come of it all will be and just keep bursting into tears will! It was so hard telling my daughter again thousands of miles away.

Maria - I am so sorry to hear of your news. To have to face this horrible disease when your life must have got back to normal is so very hard. I hope that everything goes well for you on the 27th and that the news is as good as it can be. Hang in there and good luck.

I’m so sorry you are having to go through it all again. I had a Tram flap recon few weeks ago. to go through such a long op only to have it removed a few years later is absolutely awful.

So sorry to here you are in this situation and that your daughter is so far away. I’ve been diagnosed for a 2nd time too (see 2003 and 2010) and my thoughts are with you.
