Diagnosis today

My mum, aged 60, has been diagnosed with secondary cancer in her spine today. She first had breast cancer in 2009 and has been clear for many years. It has come as a complete shock and I don’t know what to do…

Hi Leese80,

I’m so sorry to hear this, it must be awful news to receive, particularly after a long period in the clear.

We have some information on our website that I really hope might be helpful: goo.gl/QGuUty

Take care,

Becca at Breast Cancer Care.

Thanks Becca. Unfortunately the link isn’t working.

Hi Leese ,sorry you haven’t had a reply to your post from forum users ,may be worth posting in the secondary breast cancer section for some advice and support .There are ladies on the forum who have been living with secondary breast cancer for many years and advances are being made all the time with new treatments .Best wishes to you and your Mum .Jill.
