Does anyone else on Arimidex have difficulty swallowing as I’m a bit concerned about this?
No I don’t have this problem - but only been on it for 5 weeks. Is it listed as a possible side effect?

I’ve been on arimidex since August last year and although I get some side effects, aching joints mainly, I haven’t had any probs swallowing. Some of the treatments we have to have for bc seem to cause all kinds of weird and (not so) wonderful side effects! Might be worth a phone call to your BCN to check it out. Hope you get it sorted!

I’ve had lots of side effects from Arimidex but this isn’t one of them, I’m afraid. Doesn’t mean to say it’s not caused by the Arimidex though! I’ve had the usual aching joints, painful hips etc - plus several months of tinnitus and sinus problems which have now thankfully cleared up. I think it’s entirely possible that Arimidex could cause your side effects, it seems to do some weird things. I would check with your bcn and see what she says
