Hello Ladies
I had my 1st chemo on tues and since then have felt very dizzy/drunk like! And my eyes can’t focus on anything?? Think i’ll pop to Specsavers to eliminate bad eyes but sure it has something to do with treatment. I can’t even bear to look at the comp screen for too long, i start feeling sick??? Please say i’m not crazy and it’s one of the 635 million side efffects!!

…not quite the same as you but I used to get awful maigraines with Fec/Epi - couldn’t hardly use the screen at all !!!

My eyesight became blurry on FEC/TAX and I too felt strange looking at my computer screen, so mentioned it to my onc and he said it was due to the steroids. Could be a similar side affect to yours.

I couldn’t even look at a computer during Taxotere treatment for at least 3 days as i just couldn’t focus on anything or do anything at all for that matter. Everybody has different side effects from the chemotherapy and you may find your eyesight isn’t so great whilst on treatment but that it’ll remedy itself when you finish.

Thankyou so, so much for replying to me…I was really worried that the treatment had damaged my eyesight already!! Scary thought…

The steroids definitely make me feel a bit wobbly and my eyes are not as good as usual, so dont worry, it seems to have happened to a few of us!

I agree with you all about the bad eysight- mine has not been the same - I am even beginning to think my neighbour is good looking and he is in his 80’s!!!
Hope your eyes pick up soon, its all so wierd isnt it!!

I am with you on this too Lolly but has just improved today so keep hoping it is turning the corner. I feel like I have just come out of a very thick bubble.

Ooh i’m feeling better today thank goodness!! Neighbour deffo not good looking though so thankfully it hasn’t done me too much damage…However, it’s only number1…There is hope for him yet!!!xx

Really glad to hear you bouncing back. This is the bit when we have a good time and forget the impending doom again. Have fun with the babies and eat lots of good things to get those blood counts back up high again.By the way everyone, my neighbour walks around wearing knee pads over his trousers because his knees ache. It will take at least 4 epis I am sure!! Have fun this week.
