I too lost my licence for 2 years following treatment for brain met. I had no symptoms before or after treatment and my follow up scan showed the tumour had halved in size. My ONC wrote to DVLA suporting my request to have my licence re-instated. I recieved a letter thst baffled me and would have the Pain Englsh Society in a state of apploplexy. I rang Swansea and spoke to the rudest, most arrogant man. The up shot is they need a report from the ONC, supportng my claim. WHen I asked why they made me sign consent forms for the release fo medical information he said it was needed, despite the fact they had no intention of lookin at my records. He stated that Drs dodn’t know the law and that decisions about licences come from the Secretary of State. Honestly he was so far up his own ar** to see daylight. I suggested that if he felt Drs were ignorant of the law then perhaps they should send out guidelies for them to follow. You can imagain the response that got. My ONC stillsupports me and has asked a neuroligist to complete a report which needs new scans. My 2 years will be up by the time they get their act together. You can also appeal through the Magistrates Court. Ring your local one for info. It should be free if you are in receipt of benefits. Sorry to be so negative but thats my story so far. I asked the ar****** from Swansea why registered drug addicts/people waitng for cataract operation kept their licences but he stonewalled me. Good luck with the DVLA, you are dealing with dianasours

Forgot to add your ONC has to state that there is a less than 20% chance of you having a seizure
