If you are over fifty you may have experienced the strange phenomenon of looking into the mirror and having your mother pop up in front of you so you can only see her in the mirror rather than yourself.
This did happen to me in the past (although scarily it once was my grannie).
Since chemo hair loss and a mastectomy plus having put on weight someone else has appeared!!
It’s the GENIE out of the bottle from ALADDIN.
Anyone want three wishes!
LOL topper
You did make me smile - know the feeling - who is this stranger who has started living with me and looking back in the mirror daily??

Your mad Topper! What a laugh! Yes to the three wishes: That I was slim again, that my hair was thicker, and that my breast was back (minus BC) does that make it 4 wishes?!

Good ones Irene!
I’ll give the thicker hair a miss though - back to normal will do for me. I lopped mine last week because the yukky curls at the back drove me round the twist.

Oh I would give you those 3 ( or 4) wishes if I could.
BUT…I will concentrate 2 for you … the slim again and thicker hair for both of us, (well any hair would be OK for me), but I will have both again in a few months time.
It’s all just time away, so meantime I will enjoy the bald is beautiful look and the rich and plump look so admired in Tonga
AND
Three cheers for the single-breasted women!!! double-breasted is so last year
Sorry everyone, the deal has now closed…no more wishes.
My hair has grown again, I have lost weight and my tan has faded.
Yes I am back to looking like my mother!!!
Love to all
NOPE lol just the one and that be my mum cured of BC, I won’t be greedy that would be worth all the riches in the world.

Topper, you sound gorgeous but I bet you’re not looking as stunning as me right now… bald patchy hair (well, i say hair, it’s more like baby bird fuzz) wrinkly hundred year old skin with an off looking tan to it, no lashes or eye brows… in fact if you took me to the vets they’d identify me as a cat with mange and put me down instantly!
Good news is, it’s all temporary! Here’s to the spring when the ugly duckling will metamorphis into a beautiful swan (!)… if that doesn’t work i’m emigrating to Tonga.
Thanks for the laugh. Carrie
