I finished my last chemo at the end of July i had Neoadjuvant Ec Docetaxel, i had 4 Ec which i coped with pretty well but once i was put on Docetaxel things really changed for the worse, as i said i finished at the end of July but the pains in my legs just don’t seem to be getting any better each day is becoming more and more of a struggle and for a week now i been getting aching pains in my groin and the muscles down the side of my legs are getting worse, i just wondered if anyone else has experienced this ??
Chemo can put you into the menopause and a armful if this can be join aches and pains it usually gets worse just after you finishe Chemo but then should hopefully improve again over the next 6 months or so. Speak to your Bcn sometimes your Onc will opt to do X-rays or scans to see if there is any actual damage or if there are any concerns of disease progression.
Do you take pain meds? Ibuprofen is good for joint pains I’d you can take it. But you can also take paracetamol as well and they work well together.
