this is perhaps going to seem trivial to a lot of you but you don t know how important it is yo me.in this situation one can lie to people and pretend that everything is all right but i don t know how to reassure my dog.let me explain that i have no family and that my dog who is fourteen is all i love. he needs me and he is getting stressed because he knows that something is wrong.and of course we are stressing each other because we are anxious about each other s health i don t know what to do
Dear Donata,
I have spoken to you before and you explained about your mental health problems, which is making all this worse than ever for you. I know you must be absolutely devoted to your little dog, and he to you. Do you have a therapist or doctor that you trust, that could perhaps give you a low dose sedative to help you relax. This would help your doggy relax too. Or maybe the vet could give him a low dose sedative. Maybe just enough to make him sleepy, and help him be calmer. I believe there are such sedatives, because someone I know has to give her dog one when bonfire night is getting closer, as he is afraid of the fireworks banging and crashing.
I wish there was someone you could turn to at this time Donata.
By the way, I’ve answered your post about the upcoming CT scan.
