Hi there,
So glad to hear you are feeling a little better now. I know it all feels like such a long haul ahead at the moment (I remember the feeling well!) but it does actually go quicker than you imagine it will at this stage. I found that once I got my anti-sickness meds sorted, and let them know of any other side-effects as they happened, I got into a kind of routine and knew what to expect. There is light at the end of the tunnel…honest!

Thankyou gerbera.x
Hope today is a good day for you and tomorrow is better.
Hi
Glad you are starting to feel a touch better. I too felt that if chemo felt like it did those first 8 days of FEC1 there would be no way I could continue. I’m having FEC2 tomorrow and have already seen the chemo nurse to get my meds changed as I was really sick and nauseaus, fingers crossed it will be better. I know it’s difficult and I’ve tried to really enjoy the days I’ve felt well and not dwell too much on the first few days (difficult I know). It’s good to know that we are not the only people who feel like this isn’t it … thank goodness for this forum
Sorry if someone has already said this (haven’t got time to read through the whole thread) but I found days 5 and 6 of FEC I was very, very weepy - this happened every cycle so I can only assume it was a se of one of the drugs. Others I spoke to at the time had the same issue - so maybe this is affecting you as well, and you will start to feel a little bit better in a day or two. I do hope so.
