Down in the dumps

Hi
Thanks for your reply sorry your not feeling up to scratch yet really hope you are feeling better soon.

I am really down at the moment the expanders are really hurting along my ribs and I can’t sleep . The pain is constant and I’m worried I’ve made a mistake and things will never be normal again.

Sorry to moan there are people suffering alot more than me. I just feel scared that its all never going to be right again.

Had dressing off on Thursday and back next week for first possible expsnsion but depends on progress.

No-one told me to expect this pain all the time so I’m a bit fed up!

Kathy

Leo I am now 6 months out of ‘treatment’, I say it like that because I don’t think I’ve dealt with the emotional and mental implication of what I’ve just gone throught. Don’t aplogise about ‘moaning’, your not, everything everyone is going through is relevant. No-one has the monopoly over how you should feel based on your treatment. I’ve called BBC this morning and am booked in on the Young Women’s Forum, in the hope to meet other like minded people who will know what I’m going through. You should see if they have services available in your area. Good luck x
