Just had results of mid chemo scan and all is going well, so I should be feeling positive and optimistic, but I feel the total opposite. I cant stop crying and feel really low, I also seem to be in a nasty mood all the time and keep snapping at people. Has any one else felt like this?

Hi Jane
Join the club I think we all feel the same as you at various times through this, I’m either Mrs Positive with glass half full or I’m snapping at everyone and convinced that every ache and pain is something to worry about.
Take each day as it comes and rest as much as possible, your body its been through so much, it will get better…and come on here and have a rant that always makes us feel great!!

Jane, I remember those feeling all too well! Having just finished radiotherapy after 6 FEC, all I can say is that you are extremely brave and just try to see your Chemo’ as your best friend, it will not always feel like this x

Hello Jane
I think that we do all go through times like that - mine was also between 4th and 5th and its really unsettling isn’t it - you know you’re on the home stretch but still got to keep going through it.
This will pass and you will start to feel better again.
Hope things improve very soon
love, monica xx
Hello Jane
I agree with daisyleaf,
I found that when I got to the fifth cycle I pychologically had enough, if fact I was considering not even having the sixth one, I just wanted my body and my life back,
But I am pleased to say I had the sixth one yesterday and I am so glad and relieved that I got there, you will to, and then you can heal and get on with your life, please hang on in, (say’s ms hyper today !!)
Best Wishes Ann x
Hi all did not get asfar as 5th FEC before feeling emotional. Had 3x MM when mid 6 cycle MRI scan showed this not to be working very well. Now lined up for 3 FEC, am sure my oncologist is just offering me this in small ‘bites’ as I was so upset at the lack of response to the first 3 chemos Seems such a waste of time.Expect to have 3 more FEC/taxtere later. Know what you mean about psychologically having had enough and I do not start the FEC until 2/3. Am already looking at wigs. Any advice? Comments?
Best Wishes Jackiex
Thank you to all you lovely ladies for your support and comments.
Love Jane
Yes , this actually happened to me on my 4th FEC. I had reached the point where it was all becoming too much. However the nurses were lovely, I coped adn went home had a bath adn a good sleep. Afgter that I was ok. YOur body is going through a lot. I feel that it is the bodies way of perhaps releasing some tension. Be kind to yourself. Take care.
