EEK...

Have recently been through the gammet of options to successfully (hopefully) treat bc.  At last appointment with oncologist mentioned, in passing, tender area in my armpit.  Assumed that this, and other odd sensations are my new normal.  However, she has referred me for ultrasound and biopsy next week.  My sensible head says this is precautionary.  My mad dog head says that rogue cells escaped during surgery and have established a foothold. As the appointment nears, I’m experiencing all the same fears as at original diagnosis some months ago, can’t seem to get a grip.

Anyone else considered themselves treated to find themselves back to square one…

Oh mate we all know that monster that rears its head when you are least expecting and especially when we have times like this. It is really good that she is being careful in checking it out without dismissing it as nothing.  Tough pants are winging their way to you xxx

And a big bunch of flowers! ? What a bummer for you, DJD, but, putting sensible head on, let’s just go with precautionary . I’d be pretty miffed if my Onco didn’t take seriously any new aches and pains after this lot. Mad dog head can take a hike as until tests are done nothing is positive! ? Fingers and toes crossed fir you ?  X
