Hi Anthi came out yesterday. Dreadful on ward full of elderly ladies who couldn’t feed themselves so they didn’t get fed. Ended up helping them to eat or they wouldn’t have got anything!! Spoke to a friend who works for PALS and he said that they were klooking to recruit volunteers to feed the elderly, but not yet. I have heard of this problem but now have seen it first hand. WQell I am ok Although not ill I have to continue with intravenous antibiotics until Sunday they come out to me. I can still have herceptin on Friday though. yOU ARE ON YOUR 5TH NEXT AND i FEEL REALLY LEFT BEHIND!! HOW ARE YOU lOVE eILEEN

I’m pleased to hear that you’re out of hospital. I hope the Herceptin went OK today - the first one is a really long, tiring day. I’m OK here except for major hot flushes and sweats - made worse by Aromasin - and I’ve also got Herceptin headaches and Herceptin runny nose - yuk!
Just back today from seeing my 94 year old Mother - having a very difficult time with her at the moment. She can’t help it bless her - but she’s got dementia and is incontinent so any time with her is very hard work and quite exhausting. Glad to be back in my quiet clean home now.
My eyelashes have come back this week ! How are your eyebrows ?

Hi Anthi, I finally had my first lot today. It was fine because I slept on a reclining chair for 3 1/2 hours. Didn’t feel anything. How hard it must be with your mum. My eyelashes have been growing for a couple of weeks but they were always sparse anyway although I treasured every one! I can now pinch my hair between finger and thumb. I can’t use mascara yet but am going to slap another dye on it tomorrow. Thanks love Eileen
