elevated pulse rate..is this usual?

Hi lovely ladies…I’m hoping someone tells me this is not uncommon so I don’t freak out but anyway…I’m 2 weeks after my third fec treatment treatment and look to be having one more one week later than normal before my surgery on breast and kidney.I don’t bother taking my blood pressure much…I have a machine at home…and it’s actually improved lately as always high for which I take medication.anyway I took it yesterday and my pulse rate seems massively high.it was always high…around the 80 mark but read 100! Please don’t tell me I’m about to drop dead with a heart attack! Since chemo I have been aware of a Staley jumped sensation generally…kind of if you’re nervous or waiting for bad news feeling but not been unduly concerned, just put it down to the chemo and general discomfort and emotions of the cancer.I don’t see my consultant for a couple of weeks now and hadnt thought to until I saw this reading yesterday.I had an ecg in January for a chest infection and my heart was fine.anyone have any thoughts? I do have asthma and chest has been right with chemo but sats levels were fine a month ago.

I’d call the doctor or BCN and ask the same question.  100 iis at the top end of normal, but it is still normal.  I wouldn’t bother to take it again because if you are anything like me you will be stressed and it will go higher still!

My thoughts exactly…there doesn’t seem to be a great deal I can do myself…I’m having plenty of chill time so stressing is the last thing I should do.thank you x
