And thank you to our CCs for the words of support every day and night to our members! Ive been so grateful and inpressed at you day to day response to all tbe posts and even got to see a CCManager somewhere on here yesterday:) SueC, Ann-m, Lady Bowler, Jill1998, BlueAsh and other CCs, you probably dont even realise how you help us towards this difficult time but the main thing is you understand us and you are using your experiences to help us! Other members just by posting are helping each othe too! It truly is a fantastic forum, run by a great team who I know put a lot of work into it in the background which we dont see. I can see you CCs all discussing tooxx
It has been an emotional week and I was naughty because after being strong and positive from diagnosis I started to reflect on what I have had to do for the past 20 years on my own and the challenges I faced which in time I resolved and here I am again…and this is the most difficult mentally and physically! BUT again I will do it with the help of you ladies, my friends and my BCT and it really does make me smile to see all of you chatting away here, giving each other advice, sharing experiences with a bit of humour thrown in here and there!
Even though its pants (where’s Lady Bowler?) We have all been given a second chance so must fight this war together with our treatment whatever it is and come out on top…and try to think that its your bodies way of saying ‘I’m number one now, look
after me first and then think of others!’
I’ve come to the conclusion that chemo, scans, ops, drugs, hospitals and all that is given to me is on my side, my mate,my allie and each time I have any of these, its the next step to recovery!
And, the same goes to you ladies too…so hang in there!!!
As a celebration of 18 years next Sunday I’m organising an event to raise funds towards Prevent Breast Cancer (I did it last year too which was b4 diagnosis, and now Im needed the help. Never say never!) which is as the Nightingale Centre in Wythenshaw! This charitiy was set up by a worldwide know Consultant for Breast Cancer Lester Barr who diagnosed Sally Webster on Corrie and in real life and it is researching how to prevent BC in our future generations!

Carbs and omelette (egg well done) is good enough for you as they say plenty of carbs and I found with the 2nd cycle different taste buds yet again. I was on just butter croussants and milk for a couple of days first cycle but this cycle cheese on toast. Just eat what your body is telling you and try drinking herbal teas instead of caffeine tea/coffee!
My faves were mint tea and ginger and honey tea and Camomile at night. I was naughty and had a littly shandy last night???
I have been invited to a wedding party tonight, but not sure if will go as right now I’m not feeling I look good enough although Im sure no one will be bothered how I look!
Habe a goid day ladies! Its nice and bright in Sourh Manchester.??
