Hello all, I was told that this site is very useful and supportive so here goes…
I had my lumpectomy on Wednesday and a sentinel node biopsy too. Before the operation I was diagnosed with the above breast cancer and I have read a bit about it but it’s not as common as others.
I’m so scared about my results! I’m supposed to be getting married this August - all booked and everything and at 34 was hoping to start a family. Things seem a nightmare at the moment ?

Scooby my results after op didn’t throw up any extra In fact mine was much smaller than they had first thought, I had 3 weeks of Radiotheraphy and am now on Tamoxifen , none of this has caused me any trouble and I’ve been able to carry on with work and life pretty much normal, try and keep in the moment as much as possible as its all just too overwhelming to do anything else Xx
Ok thank you. They said the mammogram shows no signs of it being invasive so I hope that still applies. Xxx
Hi Scooby welcome to to the site ,it is a horrible anxious time after your op waiting to find out what happens next.There is lots of advice and support to be had in this site.There is a thread in the just diagnosed section "Just diagnosed and wanting to talk to people who understand " where quite s few ladies at different stages in their treatment are talking ,come join us.
