Epigenetic drug advance - cure in the pipeline?

I expect other stage 4 peeps already know about this, but thought I would share it anyway.
The brilliant Oncologist who manages my treatment at Charing Cross Hospital, is apparently the scientist responsible for discovering how cancer cells manipulate micro RNA’s in order to spread around the body. Anyway, I understand he is now leading research at Imperial College to create an epigenetic drug to deal with this. Reading up on the subject of epigenetic drug development is very interesting, and those of us who are interested in the work of The Anderson Cancer Centre at the University of Texas, will be interested to learn that they have been researching specific epigenetic drugs called decitabine and azacitidine (see link below). The article is a bit long, but the conclusion sums things up very well.
Interested to know if others have heard of this, and if they have any further information.
