hi ladies,
my moms ct scan wasnt good. other than the bone mets there is both a spot on the lungs and liver which the dr said are a good size.
im worried because most i read about have either bone mets with liver mets or with lung mets but havent read abt all 3 together?
she started zometa yesterday and is going to have her start erubilin soon as well as immunotherapy(which i guess this is the clincal trial)
her care is at Dana Farber in boston, ma.
any ladies here taken erubilin any advice on the side effects?

So sorry to hear about your mum, you must be very anxious but you have come to the right place for help and support.
I have bone & liver Mets (4 1/2 years) & I am currently on my 7th cycle of eribulin. I find it more tolerable than previous chemos - partial hair thinning rather than complete loss which was a bonus for me having just got back to shoulder length hair! Some ladies do lose it all though. Apart from fatigue I don’t have nausea or sickness but I do get numbness in my fingers and toes.
Moijan is our expert on eribulin as she’s been on it for a year - have a read through the thread called Chemo buddy in the Treatments section for lots of advice.
